Cooler Master HAF Stacker

This review and unboxing of the HAF Stacker from Cooler Master weighs in at 20 minutes long, but that's not nearly as hefty (or versatile) as the case itself. Whether it's for gaming, or storage, or whatever else you can think of, the HAF Stacker can probably handle it...

This looks awesome, I'm sure lots of people think it makes no sense, but the idea of having multiple computers in a large stack instead of taking up lots of floor space seems great to me. Especially turning a whole 915 into a drive array or radiator separate from the main system seems like it would be very useful.

15:14 rampage iv gene?It is not miniitx...

It is a mini itx case, the rampage iv gene will not fit in the top or lower chases as it is a micro atx motherboard.

grrr. brain fart. Added an annotation.

Actually forget it. I can edit that out fairly easily. I'll put this live later tonight when YouTube's video editor tool gets it's poop together.

@LinusTech

Do you have any information on where to get the power switch unit for the Included 915 section? I looked at coolermaster and newegg, but I did not see it. Planning a build in it, but without the power button, it will be very hard to use the ITX system. :(

I think Cooler Master is planning to list it on their web store. Maybe get in touch with them.

@LinusTech

That may be the best bet. I'll shoot them a message in a bit and see what they say about it. May just be too early in the launch for it to be on the market.

You should have included a counter for all of the bad puns xD

That case is ridiculous, but amazing for overkill builds. Could imagine someone filling the smaller ones with hard drives for an insane amount of storage.

I still thing that tj-07 is the best case for watercooling, it fits a whole lot and looks simple.

Newer cases have big amount of cable managment holes that most of the users won't need to use and end result is that u have many unused holes, empty slots and so on.

I don't really like the design (looks) of it, I prefer clean lines (something like the R4 or the Obsidian line), but I like the modularity of it.

I see that as a cheap rack, I mean, you stack them up! And if you watercool it, you could make 2 or more systems with 1 watercooling loop. You would have to make sure that the WC-pump & fans turn on when either of the systems is powered on, but apart from that I really like the modularity of it.

Linus, you mentionned that they say you should not stack  more than 3 of the small ones on-top of one another because of strength, do they provide any suggestions on how to stack more? I mean do they provide support brackets or so?

Lian Li BZ-U08B is a power switch that you can put anywhere there is a 5.25 inch drive bay available.
