Hello... just signed up for the LTT team. Haven't been folding for about 10 years, but the bug bit me...

Currently using a dual X5650, cpu only, and a i3 with 750 TI. A GTX 960 is on the way for another i3 rig. Should net a steady 250k ppd right now.

Looking forward to it...

Am I supposed to have two FAH badges? Is it possible to fix that?

This thread made me feel like an idiot. I've been folding on and off for a couple of years now with the oc3d group, collected ~3.2 million points, and since it ran fine i've never bothered to look into to passkey and such...

After activating my client i have gone from ~125k ppd to ~450k, so thanks a lot.

Any way, who cares about points in the end, its for the science in the end :)

edit: after letting it run the night over, its settled at ~630k, so ~5x the points

Hi all,

Started folding for the Team a little while back, just thought I'd pop my head in and say hi! o/

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=698196

EDIT::

I do have a quick question to the experienced folders out there.

My home server is doing all the folding work on its CPU, which seems to be going fine.

If I wanted to use up a spare graphics card, would I be able to "plug 'n' play" and have multiple worker threads going on the same task simultaneously, or would CPU and GPU work on different work units?

As with many others, I haven't done any of this in years, I see they have some for the phone too, will try it out on my s7 edge, and put in on my s5 as well that is sitting dormant over the next few days. Needed somethign to do with the new 980 GTX that I bought on a whim to play games that didn't require that much power but with a defunct video card, didn't really have a choice, so I went for the best on a less then 700 dollar budget. So here we go!

Running a server in a classroom 24/7 starting today. And 2 computers when I'm at home.

How did you even manage to run a server in a classroom 24/7. The only time I fold at school is on my laptop. My school computer won't even run folding in chrome at all.

currently I'm following a 6 month ITcourse to sharpen my skills.

the whole class bought each their server to set up a full labo with Exchange, Windows Server2012R2, Domain controllers, ... All the good stuff.

This month we are going over some Cisco, so the labo is currently offline :D

Better let my server do some Folding I tought :D

My server is a HP 380 G5 with 2 Quad Core Xeons

That's pretty neat. I wish I could convince my school to use those computers with the first gen i7s to fold instead of just sit there and rot.

Hi guys Been awhile since I posted here ...not since I announced i'd reached 100M points and was stopping.

Few of you may recall my Titan X fried ...well a fortnight ago my i7 5960x also died.  Again I can not point the finger at Folding, but i can't see that it helped :)

Cheers
