Stream games to almost any Android device or another PC using Nvidia Gamestream.

This works on most of the devices with Qualcomn Soc and certain Exynos Soc's. Works with Tegra 3 devices but may have some issues with lag.

Step 1: Install the App now its available directly from the Google Play Store:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.limelight

Step 3: Find the local IP address of your computer.

Open Command Prompt and type:

ipconfig

The ip should be listed next to IPV4 address..

Step 4:

Update to latest Nvidia drivers and Geforce Experience Software.

Step 5:

Launch the app on your phone and hit pair.

Accept the pair in Geforce Experience. You have to do this only once.

Step 6: Type in the IP in the app.

Step 7: Hit the Start Streaming Stream button!

Step 8: Enjoy!

Needless to say this only works on Nvidia GPU's with Kepler architecture.

Tested and works well on my HTC ONE. Xbox 360 Controller works well! Testing it out on a Nexus 5 tomorrow. Will soon update the results. Also it would be great if you guys could post below your experiences and your device to see how well this works.

Also huge thanks to Linus and Slick for mentioning this on the Live Stream.

EDIT: Officially Supported Games.

http://shield.nvidia.com/play-pc-games/

UPDATE 1: Tested and works extremely well on Nexus 5 on Stock ROM. Just streamed Black Flag for over half an hour with only 2 instances of noticeable lag. I recommend using ART runtime.

UPDATE 2: The download link has been changed, now it takes you to the XDA thread scroll to the bottom of the post to download.

UPDATE 4: This now works with PC's as well. Meaning you can stream from one PC to another.

You can find the pre alpha releases here: I haven't tested them out yet but feel free to post your experiences.

https://github.com/limelight-stream/limelight-pc/releases

UPDATE 5: Limelight can now stream almost any game to your phone. Just add games to your Steam library using add a non steam game option. Just played Most Wanted 2012 from Origin. Worked great.

UPDATE 6: Direct links to Google Play Store added.

Does this work for notebook GPUs?

I doubt it but I had to ask :(

Don't know. Give it shot? See if it works?

Ok so I have an S4. I got the streaming thing to work, but what do I need (specifically) to control it? For BF4, AC3, etc.

I would so jump on the Nvidia bandwagon if you could use your shield anywhere and everywhere there is Wi-Fi.

Mouse and keybaord will work but then you'll be glued to your desk. That kinda defeats the purpose I guess. Just get a used controller off ebay.

Just tested it now from my Nexus 4. Ran pretty damned smoothly...crash unfortunately after maybe 10-15 minutes due to connection error (Something with the pairing).

But otherwise ran Batman Origins on Ultra pretty freaking well.

Bit confused, does the controller connect to the phone or the PC (as is with the original "Ghetto Shield")?

The controller connects to the PC like the ghetto shield.

You have to buy a wireless controller.

Is it an xbox 360 controller? if yes then you need a receiver.

You can grab one here:
