Save till GTA V is released for PC   :P Then build your rig and get better performance for the same price. Or spend extra money and get a better one.

Would swap CPU to FX-6300 at least. What model power supply? Some cooler master power supplies are horrid but others are ok.

Solid I agree with the 6 core its what I got and works great. The 7850 is most likely good however don't expect full settings but I can get 100+ frames on medium.

The first generation of the socket AM3+ FX processors were.....ehhh....meh.

As many have said, if you can grab hold of a FX-6300, do it.

If not, a FX-4300 would be decent as well.

A HD 7870 should have no issues running BF3 on High or Ultra settings, but you may need to bring the MSAA / AF down a notch or two.

BF4 isn't too, too much from BF3, so you should be perfectly fine.
CoD Ghost isn't an issue.

I'm not a fan of the GTA games soo...I can't comment on those.

The R9-270X and R9-270 are available for your access, use them.

The R9-270X and R9-270 use the exact same GPU core are the HD 7870...but the 270X is clocked higher...and the 270 is clocked lower.

Basically: R9-270 < 7870 < R9-270X

And...power supply. Which "CoolerMaster 500W PSU" did you pick out?

If it is a cheaper, lower-end CoolerMaster unit, it's going to be junk, shit....literally.
