Linus Media Group creates videos about computers and technology.

We've had viewers asking us for years how they can help contribute to us and help us continue to make the best computer & technology videos we can make. Now we have an option that allows anyone to become a Linus Media Group Contributor. By being a contributor you are helping us cover the day-to-day expenses that go along with making videos including paying employee salaries, video & tech equipment, Internet, electricity, rent, etc. This stuff might sound boring, but not having to worry about this kind of stuff lets us focus on what we do best: creating more new, exciting video content for you guys to enjoy :)

We finally (by popular demand) have T-shirts.

Represent Linus Tech Tips with a shirt from the official store. We use only the highest quality shirts from District Lines (similar to American Apparel T-shirts) and shipping is available internationally. Make sure you check back from time to time because we'll be adding more designs in the future!

NCIX.com - The place where it all started.

Linus worked at NCIX for about 5 years during which he learned a lot and made a ton of friends. NCIX.com has web stores in Canada (also ships internationally) and the USA (ships only domestically) and retail stores in BC and Ontario Canada. NCIX.com helped Linus start up Linus Tech Tips and continues to provide overwhelming support to Linus and his team. Linus still hosts videos on the NCIXcom Youtube Channel from time to time, so you should definitely check them out and make sure you're subscribed!! http://youtube.com/ncixcom

Amazon.com is the online super store. From computer components to mayo.

Amazon.com has an excellent affiliate program. If you shop there, please amend your Amazon bookmark with the appropriate Linus Tech Tips affiliate link (just use the links above). Anything you buy in the next hour after navigating to the site with that affiliate code will give Linus Tech Tips a commission that ranges from 4% to 8% or even more!

Audible.com is the easy way to buy and manage your audiobooks. Some examples of times when audiobooks might be perfect (there are tips from Linus himself): commuting, laying in bed waiting to feel tired, and working on mundane tasks like writing blurbs about your sponsors. It's nice to have some entertainment other than music sometimes. When you sign up using the Linus Tech Tips affiliate link you will get your first audiobook free.

Try it for free and get 10% off your first order on new accounts with our offer code!

For beginners and experts Squarespace makes designing and hosting a website easier and more beautiful than ever. They have many templates suitable for blogging, eCommerce, photography portfolios and much more. They also have scalable hosting solutions so that your bandwidth and hosting can scale with you. The Linus Media Group website is hosted using SquareSpace. It took only a couple days to get up and running and and as hard as we've tried to crash it by directing everyone to it during our weekly live cast, we've never once managed to do it.

Hotspot Shield

Offer Code: LINUS

20% Off Elite Prices

Hotspot Shield is a VPN service that Linus has used for a number of (completely legitimate) purposes since first being introduced to it. VPNs are great for protecting your privacy online by making it more difficult for your location and identity to be tracked while you're browsing. They also allow pesky geographical restrictions such as Netflix's notoriously different regional libraries, YouTube/Google blockages, and news site blackouts to be circumvented. The free version is ad-supported, so we really recommend going with an Elite membership, and of course you can save 20% with our offer code ;)

I don't know if they do affiliate codes/coupons but I would recommend FrozenCPU.com and Performance-pcs.com. Also Newegg.com, Monoprice.com, Lutro0-customs.com.

Gamefanshop is actually nice. I bought Bioshock Infinite from Pistol's affiliate store when it launched and 2 days ago my license was gone. Steam told me it was revoked by the publisher. So I mailed gamefanshop and within 1 hour they sent me a new key [from the publisher].

So their customer support is awesome ^^ and quick O,o [Steam needed 2 days to tell me whats up]
