was also thinking of going to a custom loop in the near future, seeing as my h100i is dying it could be the perfect time too? than when i get it back from rma i could just use it in different pc/sell it to a friend.

If your planning on going custom do not get that kit!

I would say everything in there is fine except for the bloody pump, it whines constantly even once the loop has been bled.

the rad/ block and res are worth the same price and the whole kit, ill jsut buy a different pump after if it whines   http://puu.sh/5a8mo.jpg

I know kits are really good value, especially for us here in Australia but I was more so thinking about an H320, you get a bigger radiator, quiet pump and it's also expandable so you could use it later + it's also cheaper.

was thinking of that but the r4 doesnt have space for a 360mm rad,  cant mod one into front either cause i got a blueray drive there.

I had a same issue with my H100i with my 3770k. So I removed the cooler and I saw that the reapplied thermal paste was not even. I cleaned it and put on my own thermal paste and the temps drops 20c then I was able to overclock. So try reseating the CPU cooler with better thermal compound.
