[Build Log] Phanteks Enthoo Primo: Ice Water

Hello everyone!

I'm a huge fan of Linus and watch a lot of his videos. I wanted to post my recent build in here to showcase the new Phanteks Enthoo Primo. I've been looking for a case that suited my needs and while I thought the 900D was gorgeous, it was simply too large for my tastes. Given that, the Enthoo is slightly smaller, it has so many features that cater to water cooling enthusiasts and it shows. I absolutely love this case and I see myself using it exclusively for years to come.

I am also a custom sleever and I've been selling custom sleeve jobs on reddit. You can view my work here. Now that I've said this, I was not happy with the way the 24-pin turned out on this current build. I sleeved the stock cable and it was an absolute nightmare. I will most likely never sleeve another stock PSU. It's significantly faster for me to cut and crimp my own wires, than to de-pin a stock cable. I will do another 24-Pin custom cable on the next iteration of this build.

So finally, some day light pictures!

Oh did you? Haha well thanks! Yes, I'm quite excited for the acrylic iteration of this. :D I just wanted to show people what you could do with the soft tubing. With acrylic, there are so many different configurations of how to run a loop! I'm quite excited to see what I can do with it. :)

What camera did you use?

I used a Canon Rebel T2i with an EF 100mm Macro lens for some of the close up pictures. Then used a 50mm "nifty fifty" for the rest of the exterior shots.

Awesome build! Phanteks really did a great job with that case and you've done an exceptional job with your build, mate! :)

Nice build man! I really like this case more over Corsair's 900D tbh.So what happened to that rear 120 rad?

Thanks!

I didn't like how it blocked the top radiator's ports and on top of that, it looked too gaudy, so it had to go. When I go acrylic, I might just add it to the front of the case. But we'll see what happens. :)

Hey thanks! I'm quite proud of it, but I have to say that it's not even finished yet! I just wanted to do a soft tube build. After this, acrylic will be on its way!

This trend of user friendly cases Is great for us builders. It's almost like case wars with everyone trying to outdo the last latest/ greatest.  Beautiful work, I like your choice in parts, It really shows you know your stuff.  your going to love the Acrylic, it is fun to work with! just buy more and longer than you think so you don't have to reorder three times. Dx

Very nice tubing, the comparison pic is cool with the lighting.  Very clean, makes the inside look sophisticated and does the exterior justice!

Ummmm.  Radiators?  Wow.  What do you see for temps on this thing?

I went from a single 240mm (64mm thick) radiator to these two. I dropped about 15 degrees on my CPU temps and about 10 degrees on my cards. Significant drop in temps all around and I'm very happy.

Average CPU Temps: 35~ Idle | 58 Full Load

Average GPU Temps: 40~ Idle | 51 Full Load

Haha, case wars, I like that. And yes, the recent trend in more or less affordable

cases with a good feature set and decent build quality is a good thing IMO.

You mean the fan distributor PCB? I think that comes with the case.

You can find stuff like this over at FrozenCPU. If you're looking for something similar to this, look through here.
