Jumper118

@Jumper118 I'll have to see how pissed my 480 will get. I can see it getting to 80C like my 7950 did.

@Jumper118 (gotta love that tags still work)

I want to get a Kraken G10 and some kind of AIO for it, but I don't know if it will work on it, since I have the dual-DVI version, which has a non-reference PCB, apparently. :(

you dont need to tag me as i'm subbed to my own thread anyway :P you could get a G10, but aftermarket air cooler can be great as well as long as you can fit it in a case and have better compatibility with custom PCB's

Extreme HD preset, although it bumps me down to custom settings when I pick Extreme HD

Anyone know why It won't let me run the Extreme HD preset? is it because my monitor isn't the correct resolution?

Awesome! Anyway, I clicked the Extreme HD setting, I just couldn't get the Valley to actually benchmark at those settings. The only setting difference between my settings and Extreme HD is resolution though. My monitor is 1280x1024

that is why then, you cant normally run a higher res than your monitor. try the basic preset which is 720p

depends on how mad you go with the voltage. i would say 850w at least when they are on air and if you overvolt them underwater with a custom bios you could pull 1000w+ and i'm not even joking. i think 8 pack had 4 of them on air pulling 1600w from a 1300w superflower psu!

that must've been 1600W from the wall. but still, even if it was 1600W actual, I could believe it with voltages pushed to gpu-icidal levels.

well it was 8 pack benching and he is mad. i'm not sure whether that was from the wall, but its 80+ platinum so even if it was 1600w from the wall its was still putting out more power than rated! you also have to remember bristish electricity is 240V as well so it should be even more efficient.
