@Jumper118 what PLL and FSB voltages did you use on your Q9650?

 i think it was just over 1.9v

That's strange because i found my sweetspot was around 1.68v :/

 

Anything over 1.74 was getting very unstable.

i can go to 2v+ on mine but that would be silly and it might die. i think might board sets it as 1.8v stock. :P

its 23c in my room :( sucks

Its starting to peak 30c in the room I'm benching :/ so yeah the system is having BIOS freezing now so I'm giving up for the day cause I'm getting very very irritated with it along with being hot doesn't help any.

Wow you guys and your hot rooms for benching , my room temp has been about 16c lately lol , I was also running an iced rad and temps were amazingly lower like from 80c max to 65c Max

the power lead for the phase is here tomorrow and insulation materials are coming either tomorrow or thursday. i am getting very board of waiting. i am also very pissed off at super pi 1m today. i am running tighter timings and a higher frequency with some new ddr, but getting times that are a second slower, so i have given up on that for now.

 

in other news i got an ati x850 pro agp that is unlocked to an XT today, so all i need now is a slot 1 P3 and i will be good to go for old school round 2 :)

It needs to be 24/7 usage stable

I never ran any stress tests, but I might hook up my h100i and run some stress tests at 5ghz, but if it's stable at those volts or 1.315-1.33v. What would it be worth and where would I go about selling it?

If its stable at 5GHz at 1.3v you have a CPU valued at 600$ if you sell it as binned.

If its stable at 5GHz at 1.3v you have a CPU valued at 600$ if you sell it as binned.
