* I have not done this before, so please don't judge my cringe.

Hello everyone, and its been a while since i had ever had a desktop. I only had an Acer Aspire, Probably an X3 back in 2010. Since then I had only been using laptops. I've been pleased with them till now, because my desire for them had reached its limits, and I NEED a more powerful machine. My new rig, My first computer i'm building my self (i have experience with computers because i have a shop, and all i do there is screw around with the core 2 duo's there.). Welcome, To the Black Finalator, sorry for such a crap name. I like it, I originally had it named STAC. But eh why not!

Parts. GREEN = Arrived RED = waiting for/ordered. PURPLE = Gift. Normal = Has not decided/ordered.

PCPARTPCIKA! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mp6djX

For your convenience.

MAIN RIG

Intel Core i7-5820k.

NZXT Kraken X31 (overall, the X61 is about 5-10 degrees cooler.)

MSI X99A Raider

Corsair Vengance LPX (4x8GB)

Zotac Geforce 980ti (bc on pc partpicker nothing is black and grey/white) Does not make a huge diffrence.

NZXT S340

EVGA 750W

--

Storage Solution.

Intel 240GB M.2, as a boot drive. Normal stuff too.

Samsung 850 Evo 500GB, as a Temp Storage solution for editing videos. MOST used games might be here.

Segate SV35.5 2TB, As Archival, games. Also bc this is 70 dollars!

--

Peripherals.

Asus MG279Q 144HZ Monitor. Whats cool about this monitor is that its IPS. 1440p Ips at 500 dollars! Now your wondering how my 980ti can handle this, I'll turn off filters. They for some reason make me dizzy.

Cooler master Storm Quickfire Rapid/ Rapid TK.

Logitech G502.

Focusright Scarlet Package.

---

What i do and what I will mod.

I dont plan on RMA drives, or that s340. Those will prob stay for a long time with modding.

That monitor too could be modded, as well as the interface , the interface is red.

I want to eliminate the colors that I can.

Follow for updates. This will also be in my sig. THIS WILL TAKE A LONG ASS TIME.

Update 1

Spoiler

wait.

Okay well if you want a boss looking white and black 980 ti and you're willing to paint and take apart stuff then i'd definitely get a reference card, paint the cooler black and white, and sand off the led. A bit of work but these look awesome imo.

The more standard MSI version is also very easy to take apart and paint.

A small video (having taken apart the 980ti coolers for attaching waterblocks, I'd just like to say it is WAY easier than this guy make it seems.)
