No commercials in the middle of unboxings please!

Linus please don't put commercials in the MIDDLE of an unboxing like you did in the latest video of the

Eton Rugged Rukus Solar Bluetooth Speaker. I understand that you have to make your living and you decided to use commercials to do so. I don't argue against that, I even disabled my adblock on youtube but please, please don't put the ads in the middle of the video.

Thank you

They aren't too intrusive, true it was a little long but that doesn't happen all the time. He has to get by somehow so just grit your teeth and support him if you want him to keep making the content.

It's not really an ad, just a sponsored message and like @Samdb said that's what is going to fund future videos, these products aren't always handed out for free.

And Linus and Slick and the rest of the crew deserve to be paid, it can't be easy getting in front of the camera each and every day to provide us with decent information/entertainment.

If this makes a difference then I'm all for it.

I don't know if Linus even has control over when an ad is played.

He probably gets payed a good amount more if it is in the middle of the video, rather then at the end.

i do want to support linus in any way i can.

but this is just not good for the content, for linus, and for us.

i dont have problems with ads in the end/the start of the video, and i dont use adblock ,so i also see an add in the start anyways.

I find it completely acceptable. Man, what a weird thing to cry about, really. It's better than many other methods of advertisement out there.

Cheers,

Linus

This is exactly how I am thinking about it. Ads in the start/end of the video but not in the middle. Not only is it annoying (at least for me) but also it affects the flow linus has in a negative way

I really don't mind the ads in the middle of the video, infact I enjoy watching Linus explaining product and am actually willing to listen to what he's advertising. It's miles better than the popup, intrusive, annoying ads that youtube force us to watch before and after videos.

Tl;dr I dont mind,

I don't really mind it if it helps his channel. It makes the people watch through this instead of just closing the website after the unboxing ends if it was placed in the end..
