Fixing bad connectors

I’m having a lot of problems with my LCD panel connector on my ZenBook UX32VD. The screen starts flickering and eventually goes black (backlight is still on). To fix this I have to disconnect and reconnect the LCD panel connector, but it just works for a short while after this. Sometimes simply leaving the laptop off for a while “fixes” it. The connector is for the LCD panel, the panel backlight, keyboard and keyboard backlight, but it’s only the LCD panel and sometimes the keyboard input that doesn’t work properly. I can find any physical damage to the connector, but it’s clearly not making proper contact. How can I make sure the pins are making good contact?

If its a problem with the panel included in the laptop you're probably just best off sending it in.
