Okay so I have to know if It's a typo about the CPU being a i7 3770k,  or the motherboard being a mistake... cuz I can't seem to figure out how you would get them to work when the motherboard doesn't support the i7 3770k.  My brain hurts trying to figure out if you are a major super user that writes your own BIOS or not.  Other than that it looks amazing.

Way too overpowered for NAS, you are essentially wasting energy...are you using it for other things?

 

What OS are you using?

 

You said 10x4TB which shouldnt add up to 40TB because you should have some kind of redundancy. Your card is only capable of doing RAID 0 and 1 levels...you need minimum RAID 6 or a RAID 50 setup (you can emulate this in FreeNAS on a software basis)

I use it for all my movies and music and my personal files and using it with air video and audio.

 

I am using 20TB with all my storage and 20TB as my clone so I can have a backup

 

Currently have 18 TBS of used data
