All my parts are brand new from NCIX Canada

 

Hi again guys and girls

 

This is my new Home Server 2.0 with Case change and more looking like a server and said good buy to the Cooler Master Haf XB

I have pictures already so please take and let me know what you think of my 2.0

Case - Corsair Air 540

CPU - Intel Core i7 3770K

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-H77N-Wifi

Ram - Patriot Intel Extreme Master 16GB 2X8GB

Os Drive - Seagate Momentus XT 500GB

Storage Drive - 10 x Westen Digital 4 TB Reds 40 TBs

Stroage enclosure - 2 x Star Tech 4 Drive 3.5in & Vantec EZ Swap 4

Raid Cards - Adaptec Raid 6805E 8 Port

Power Supply - Corsair 650 AX

Fans - 9 x Corsair AF 120 LED Blue

That is really amazing, that is a ton of drives in one case, I like how the enclosure fit so perfectly in the case. Also I think that's Kingston HyperX memory not Patriot Extreme Masters. Also, no shots of the back compartment?

Reason is so I can change them nice and easy as that is the most accessable side!

My bad I was going to have the Patriot Extreme but that is now in my Hackintosh!

I would but the back side looks crap with all the sata cables, as far as costs is that with or without the hard drives lol!

Wow very nice server build mate, I didn't realize WD had released 4TB versions of the RED drives, nice! Though then again here in Australia we always get jibbed lol, I'll give it a year and they should be available here...

I might get a all in one raid card, CPU and motherboard if I can diside what raid card I want that will work with a mini ITX!

Nice build OP. What sort of read/write speeds are you getting with those raid cards?
