If you have spare money left over, and you want that over all else, go for it! that seems really expensive though. The pound is around 3 times New Zealand dollar, or just under, so that's like 180 dollars :\

It's more like 90 dollars according to xe.com, but there is hardly any used MK in England... No one buys them, therefore no one is selling them! It kind of sucks... I'll have a look around though, of course... Always up for a bargain :D

I own one of these, and I gotta say the quality is really good. The plastic casing may feel cheap and can flex easily....but the hardware inside is really high quality, and on top of that, since the switches are PCB mounted, you can change switches around without desoldering.

I'm keeping in view a thread in the local forum here, there's a guy selling a 1993 Lexmark Model M Buckling Spring KB.....in great condition except that the three lights at the side don't work. Thinking about it as this is like buying a piece of KB history.

I have placed and order today for a Corsair Vengeance K70 in the Anodized Black. My first mechanical, I am still using a Microsoft Sidewinder X6 that I got back when they were first released. Needless to say, it was about darn time.

To get on topic, I would have bough an IBM model M in its original box a little while ago, just didnt have the money and it was ANSI layout, and I'm used to (nordic) ISO.. :/

Just got some new key caps for my CM Storm Quickfire TK (Reds)

Got some orange blanks from WASDkeyboards to match the colour of my case. I was at first a bit worried to how the LED's would look through them but they turned out far better than I thought they would.

^^That QF TK with those key caps sure do look nice!  I have a QF TK Blue and I love it, only snag is, I've got so many KB's, the TK is now boxed up and on my reserve.  Your mod is giving me some ideas what I can do with it.....but, must resist as I've got a Model M and DS III on my 'to do' list.

If you type more than you game then go for blue. If game more than you type then go for browns. IMO, if you have people around you with sensitive ears then go for browns. They're much quieter than blues. Good luck.

I've heard the Quickfire TK with browns is quite difficult to find. Might have changed though. The layout take a little while to get used to be after you get used to it it's really great due to having a smaller footprint on your desk.
