Anyone tried Afterburner with AMD's crimson?

I'm currently using Afterburner with Catalyst to disable Powerplay, up the clocks and customise the fan settings.

I've heard that Crimson and Afterburner where not playing nice (specially the fan settings).

Anyone tested Afterburner with the new Crimson hotfix yet?

I could not overclock my R9 280 after I installed the crimson drivers, and my card doesn't over heat. BUUTT that's because it makes my fan speed go up and down non-stop. So no luck for me yet.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I have an overclocked R9 280!!!

This is why I've been hesitant to jump to Crimson.

Crimson completely destroyed my computer. It made it completely unusable while it was installed.

Now that it is uninstalled, it works fine.

It is still new, and it doesn't seem to be completely ruining your computer, it should be fixed in the near future as Afterburner is honestly the best OC software.

I got a Sapphire Dual-X. Overclocks like a champ too!

Got it running 24/7 at 1100/1425 at the moment.

Jesus! I'm glad I've waited.

I think I'll give it a miss till AB is confirmed to run ok with it.

Honestly I wouldn't be too worried with more popular hardware. I just have a very -obscure- setup. Just read my sig.

My Power Color was runing 1125 Core and 1345 Memory, and that over heats at 100% for and hour. ( I don't play games that demanding for very long)

I Can't go any further because I have a micro ITX case and it covers 1 fan. :/

And also, to stay on topic, the new drivers crash a lot on my system.

Just make sure you run the Crimson beta(patch), no issues.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Yeah, I got plenty of ventilation on mine. I also reapplied the thermal paste on the GPU to shave a few degrees off.

Trixx has never played nice for me. I always seemed to blue screen when I used it in the past. Perhaps I could give it another go now with Win 10.

Same here until they updated it for the Fury, no idea what they did but it worked.
