question about fans

Prysin

Noiseblocker fans. better or worse then noctua fans?

they recently got in stores where i live, and their stats looks good (CFM and DB numbers).. i am HIGHLY sensitive to noisy computers. i want mine to be whisper quiet if possible.

so question is. Would it be worth it moving from noctua to noiseblocker?

i got a couple of Corsair AF120s in my itx, which IS gonna get changed though :P

To be honest, the most you can do for your fans is to get quiet mounts. You can only get a fan to spin so quietly, you know what I mean? Like a larger fan is always going to make less motor noise, and a smaller will make more motor noise.

The audible difference between two quiet mounted fans can't be heard.

i have a NZXT 820... i have like 6x 120mm fans and 2x 200mm fans....

accumulated noise is my issue....

yes, my noctua fans has quiet mounts.

hell, i even modded the rad of my 295x2, added a strip of sound dampening self adhesive foam between the case and the rad to reduce vibrations being transferred (it helped. A LOT)
