Replacing Motherboard Advice.

Hello Forum.

Long story short, I am switching motherboards of the same chipset due to the motherboard dying out on me.

I have 2 HDD and 1 SSD which has Windows on it. 1 of the HDD has just only games downloaded.

What is the most correct way of swapping one motherboard to another, do I just plug everything in and download the drivers again or start over from scratch.

I am more than happy to clear up any confusion. Thank you!

Should work with most major Mobo manufacturers (ie, Asus, MSI etc...) I just switched from an MSI 970A-G43 with an FX-8320  to an Intel I5-6600k and an Z170A and I had a SSD and A HDD and mine switched over just fine and I'm running Windows 10, all I had to do is update the drivers! Hope this helps!
