Weird start-up screen, new GFX causes low FPS in-game, Windows 10 randomly freezes

Apasalic

Hello forum! First time posting here!

I really need help with my pc! About 2-3 months ago, my old GFX burned down, so I bought a new one -> MSI AMD Radeon R9 380.

Since then, I can play games etc., but it's not running as smooth as my old GFX....

In CSGO, I'm running medium settings and barely reach 100fps

In Witcher 3, I barely reach 60 fps on medium settings.

I have seen Youtube videos and benchmarks, and this card should atleast run better frames than this? Maybe my CPU is bugging me? I dunno and I'm just stressed about it..

I also experience this problem with the start-up screen after installing new GFX

Also since Windows 10 upgrade, my pc seems to freeze at random occasions when I first start-up my pc. I restart and it works!

Your i5 may not be the best i5 for gaming, but I dont think that you are bottlenecking, maybe a litlle bit.I would suggest using Diplay Driver Uninstaller(google it) remove the current driver, and install either an odler or the newest.NVidia drivers for windows 10 are poop.

Did you do a clean install of windows 10 when you upgraded?

If not, this might be worth a try.

Hope this helps :)

I did a clean install of Windows 10 yes... :/

might sound stupid but did you look into why your old GPU died?

Im thinking you might have a lumpy power supply which killed your old card and is giving you grief on the new one...

Sounds plausible at the very least
