SQL Server Problem

Fayerpalmas

Hello everyone!

So a friend of mine has a problem with his SQL Server. The problem is: He is connected to the network but has no connection (The network icon on the right-bottom of the screen is normal it doesn't show any problems). He can't go on the internet from the server and he also can't connect to te server from another computer. Does anybody know what the problem may be and how it can be solved?

Thanks in advance!

Does the server have a DHCP lease or static assigned IP address. Can you ping the server from another LAN Machines ?

Could be a DNS Issue....
