Finally done(ish). Comments and Criticism please!

Ocmersh

  • Below are the specs. Folks on the forum helped me address finer points I had issues with. Alot of modding and painting went into the H630 case (Paint job far from perfect, but I am happy with it). Aside from a missing screw or two, it is done. And I will refrain from tearing it apart and putting it back together  . As through trail and error (as has been the case for the last few months, this project has been ongoing for quite some time). Thanks!

I'd like a fury X, when the fury x2 comes out I might get one. Or ride these 295x2's out until I can't max everything out in my games anymore. I like the dual GPU cards because it free's up space. I am an engineering student at my university, the purpose of it was to be for a workstation + dedicated gaming. Excited for its real uses, I feel like it can do anything with it (For now at least, lol )

Well i think it's more than a workstation + dedicated station xD. It's a powerhouse! Did you overclock your CPU? If so, what are the speeds and the voltages?

Sorry, I figured I should have posted some numbers :P. Here is a recent one with the everything OC'ed, besides RAM. As far as FPS, one that this rig does well on is Shadow of Mordor. It gets an avg of 116 FPS at 4k, everything ultra, including that waky texture pack. Not to shabby. Not all games are as nice with teh crossfire though. GTA V on max setting ran around 60 FPS

The best OC i've gotten out of the processor is 4.45 with 1.295 for the voltage. I am still messing with it though, it fights with the ram speeds.
