Mouse macros, holding the letter "p" instead of just pressing it once

EIijah

So I have a cooler master storm mizar, and the software for it is pretty good, except I want to bind the IE back button to hold "p" but all it does is press it extremely briefly, does anyone know how I can get it to work, or if I could use a macro instead, and how I would do that

is there a setting where you can set it to "toggle"?

so that one press turns it on, another press turns it off

autohotkey is a free program that can probably let you do it if your software doesnt allow

i know my M95 had a toggle setting to repeatedly press a key

I dont know the software of your macro but I've used a lot of macro software and most of them has a function of press and release when recording macro.

Example. If I record pressing P on macro there will be 2 data encoded. P-Press and P-Release.

Delete P-Release and you'll just have P-Being pressed w/o getting released.

The only thing is, I want the button on my mouse to act like the key, so When it's being pressed "p" is pressed, and when it is release p is then released

There should be an option for that in the Macro configuration..

On Razer these are the choices..

Play Once

Play multiple times

Toggle continuous playback on/off using assigned key

Play while assigned key is pressed

You should pick something like "Play while assigned key is pressed"
