so i am deciding between these to and i want them for different reasons

i want the 22 inch cause i want higher pixel density

i want the 23.8 inch because i has 1 ms better response time and has an hdmi port (i will be using dvi though)

so which one should i get......

Try and figure out which reasoning is more important to you and go from there.

The 23 is bigger and cheaper and from acer which imo is a more trustable brand than AOC. The only thing from aoc i've ever had is a remote or something and I think that remote broke really quickly.

Also if you get a dead pixel out of box or something acer will probably be more likely to give you a refund or a new monitor because they can afford it more than AOC.

The pixel density really won't be that much different.

I would say the Acer. There are a couple down sides to the AOC monitor. People are saying the stand isn't that great, and it may not come with a DVI cable. At least one person said it didn't from what I am reading. Both screens seem fine.

I also agree with @superjuddy

I too would choose the Acer monitor because for gaming and most uses 1ms will not be that noticeable. Also Acer is more reliable with better warranties and less DOA's

Get the Acer one. I haven't heard a single good thing about AOC. That's an easy decision. Also, the monitor with + 1 ms, your not going to notice the difference.

Now I'm deciding between these two, screen size doesn't matter but I preferably want close to 20 inch, and if anyone knows 20 inch monitors around $150 that are better than these or as good as please recommend them

Asus does make some good monitors. They make some of the best gaming monitors out there. Thing is, these two products are very similar. I would save $50 and go with the Acer.
