Router in a car = wifi in a car

deepengrurung
Go to solution Solved by mluton,

We used to keep a MIFI device in the works van powered via the Cigarette lighter.

So, i have two routers one is of asus and other is of dlink 2750u

And dlink router has a usb 3g support ,then I thought of getting a usb 3g modem and keeping my sim in it for internet (i have 2 sim[idk why])

THE QUESTION IS WILL IT WORK.?(in a car not outside)

It may work, but most smartphones have this functionallity build-in.

No nerd for ghetto mod.

I have two phones which only support 2g

And i have iphone 5s which drains battery and overheats

Do you have a regular outlet in your car? If not they make adapters and then it should work

I have 2 regular outlets in my car (i dont know why but it has)

Not big ones but two pairs of circle outlets

This seems like a much easier option to me...

CPU: i9-13900k MOBO: Asus Strix Z790-E RAM: 64GB GSkill  CPU Cooler: Corsair H170i

GPU: Asus Strix RTX-4090 Case: Fractal Torrent PSU: Corsair HX-1000i Storage: 2TB Samsung 990 Pro

Yes, assuming you can supply power to the modem. a lot of public wifi networks (like the ones in McDonalds) are just this, gives you free wifi, and keeps you off the internal network (i.e. don't need to worry about vlans, etc).

You can still call, and still use your phone for whatever you want when tethering is enabled
