Just wanting to know whether this is a good monitor, and if there are better ones in the same price range (AU).

I think my fiend has this monitor.

 

Used it a couple of times and have no complaints for gaming (at 60Hz of course. PS3, PS4 and PC). Can't comment on anything but gaming though, since I have not used it for anythng else 

I will predict it's not awesome for photo editing or whatever though, because its a TN panel

Will only be using it for gaming so that's fine.
