Should I get an GTX 970 or R9 390? Or a R9 390x?

AMD R9 390. There isn't that much FPS difference betweeh the R9 390 and the R9 390X 3-6 FPS.

Is the GTX 970 awful compared to the 390? What GPU have you got?

I have 2x R9 290x and 1x AMD R9 Fury X. The GTX 970 isn't really bad against the R9 390 but performance wise the R9 390 is better in most games.
