Acer XR341CK won't sleep properly

When Win10 requests to turn the display off every 15 minutes, my monitors seem to go to sleep. The Benq goes into proper sleep as I can see the power LED change color. The Acer power LED stays blue and windows plays the device disconnect/unplugged sound every 5 or so seconds. I keep the brightness pretty low and got a decent display with no noticeable bleed, so I don't know if it's displaying a black screen or is in fact turned off.

 

Anyone else having this issue? Even if it's not the same monitor?

I do not personally own this monitor but I have been following it rather close. I have heard of others having your issue as will. I also have not seen any fixes sadly. I know that some people have chosen to RMA it because of that issue however.
