SteelSeries - Rival 300

 91dd67e78424e92a-16x16.png Steel Series - Rival 300

The Steel Series rival 300 (6500 cpi) is the original rival and has two side buttons on the left with a dotted rubber texture on the left and right sides with a matte sweat proof coat on the main body. The logo (looks like: 91dd67e78424e92a-16x16.png) at the bottom has a color led in it that can be changed in the steel series engine 3 app also the scroll well has a led that can be changed in the app as well.

The mouse supports game sense so the led can change when in game actions take place on supported games (like some alien ware keyboards can). Below is a plate that can be swapped out with a 3D printed one.

To conclude: The Rival 300 is a great mouse with amazing precision and comfort and for the price is a bargain.

What firmware does it come with - 1.8.0.0 or 1.16.0.0? If it has the latter one, I'd suggest downgrading.

Can you also post a pictures of the side grips? I got the Rival recently, but it wasn't the 300 version and I'm not sure if mine has the improved side grips.

The box said just "Rival" so it was an older revision, not the newest one, which is labelled "Rival 300".

According to the 360 view on Steelseries' website, the side grips on the Rival 300 have a slightly different texture than the ones on the older model.

There was only "Rival" before. Steelseries rebadged it to Rival 300 not a while ago with the only improvement being the improved side grips.

Whats the point of the larger back button? I would thing the front side button is more important sonce your thumb doesnt have to travel such a distance, reducing the reaction time- something important for csgo

Longboarders/ skaters message me!
