Your experience with mail-in-rebates

I am still waiting on a mail-in-rebate from Corsair that I applied for in THE MONTH OF MAY. Literally six months ago. I called them back again today and apparently they're still processing rebates from that timeframe. I find that to be completely ridiculous. I have used mail-in-rebates from other companies like Cooler Master and EVGA and never had any issues of the sort. Now I see why most people don't even consider the MIRs as savings when shopping for computer parts.

Worst part is that I'm looking at a power supply and case for my next build, and although there are some good deals on Corsair products, many are associated with mail-in-rebates. This experience has me totally turned off to buying another one of their products.

Has anybody had similar experiences with Corsair or any other brand? Maybe they're just giving me the shaft because I'm Canadian ehh?

The only recent rebates I have done are with Antec (one for a psu, one for a case) and they took about 3 months, maybe a little less, but I'm in the US.
