Need help with a new build!

cmcgirr3050

Hi there!

Im starting a new build pc for gaming and video editing and internet use. I want to be able to play game in ultrasettings and record as I hope to start my own youtube gaming channel. My budget is about 800 pounds max! If someone could point out or make a list of the parts I would need as I don't have a clue about what would be good or not!

Thanks cmcgirr3050.

Im not sure on the monitor at the moment as the old one might be ok for the time being but if it needed changed I could get it myself, but I would need a new keyboard and speakers.

Ta-da! it's a tad overbudget but if you downgrade to 8GB and remove the SSD or harddrive it should be more acceptable.

Theme is red and black.

How well would this perform well with my needs?

It would perform just about great. I went with a 390 (non-X) because for another $100 it gets ONLY about 5 more frames per second. Not worth it, if you ask me. The CPU is great for overclocking, single core performance (some games want that) & its also more than you need for video editing.

Would it run games on ultra at 60fps or is it hard to know?

The Xeon build is more than enough for anything, would be very good at multithreading and is significantly cheaper than an i7 build. It would run games on ultra at 60FPS as the 390X is on par with a GTX 980 in many titles.

You could get a cheaper GPU, let's say a 290X/390, that could save you some money.
