R9 390 or 144hz free sync 1080p

Hey all! I have an r9 380 2gb atm. Was curious if I should upgrade to an r9 390 on 60hz or get a 144hz freesync display? I know the only games I can drive at that fps is league csgo dota etc. But I heard free sync is great in general. :)

Wait till new gpus come or save more to get better monitor like 1440p or a fury /gtx980 topi although nvidia is giving there be gpus in msi 2016 will have hbm memory and will be much faster
