Is this a good all around gaming pic build?

Hello I am building a gaming pc and this is what I have come up with. I don't know that much but I know the basics. I play lots of FPS's, MMO's, RPG's and other games. My budget is around 1600$. Do I need to change anything or is it good? Any feedback is greatly appreciate

I'd say get a monitor with a higher refresh rate, if you need it. Also, 750W is a little overkill for the build and swap out the 980 for a Radeon Fury for better performance for like $40-50 more.. Other than that it's pretty good.

Don't be fooled by the bottom line of my sig, that is just for my travels.

So you're telling me that Gaben is no God? Enough of your foolishness.

My hardware you ask? I'm using a Dell Inspiron 3217 Notebook... With an LG 25UM57.

Save money by getting an i5 if its only purpose will be gaming and maybe get something like a 600W to save even more also I recommend getting windows from r/MicrosoftSoftwareSwap on reddit because its only $35.

please don't get 4x4GB sticks of RAM, you might just want to upgrade to 32GB and a 2x8 won't leave you with 16GB that you can't use in the main system.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

I recommend this, except maybe keep your power supply if you can stretch the budget.
