Rocket League:how to play splitscreen?

You need two controllers, one keyboard and one controller doesn't work. It should just let you match make and you'll end up in split screen soon enough.

maybe because no one knows? just got to be patient dude.

 

iirc, you need two controllers in order to split screen.

 

if you have an XBOX controller and one keyboard, i think you what you can do is plug the controller in, then out, then back in until you see the ring light resemble player 2. then open up rocket league and press start on your controller. if that doesn't work, then you might need to buy another controller to go split screen

I just tried it and I couldn't get it to play 2 player. I'm gonna look in to it.

Edit: I can't find a solution for keyboard and controller.

I don't know why you're on here complaining when you could have literally Google'd "Rocket League Split Screen".

Hello! So let's move straight ahead:

First, split screen DOES NOT WORK if one player is on Keyboard and the other one is on a controller. This is because the game recognizes KB and controller as the same player for whenever you want to switch to controller or viceversa. With that said, all players need to use controllers when in the same PC.

1. Start up the game, all controllers plugged in, but nobody touch anything.

2. Main player presses any button to continue to the main menu, and the other players press the START button on their controllers to join the party at the bottom of the screen.

3. Important: You can play online, local, and/or wait on training while joining the match. BUT NOTE: If you join TUTORIAL while having other players, the match joining will stop.

4. When you've joined the match, players can now join the team they want. Remember to keep track of who is who when you see your Steam name with User (2), User (3), and so on.

finally got it to work i disconnected my keyboard and mose only controllers connected and it worked

 

steps

go to rocket league

main player press start button ,2nd player press start only after player 1

and wola 2 players

 

(rember to dissconect keyboard)
