lol i think once you die your brain follows what you believed your whole life. Like, you die and your brain is like welp this is it, I was a christian so im going to heaven, or whatever you believe. This leaves a lot of holes, like reincarnation and would you actually reincarnate or you think you did because theres no physical way to figure it out. You are left with your soul i suppose.

Don't kill yourself, life is awesome but it has it downs but after those only good things can happen!

But well I fear that it will just be empty after the life. Its a hard question to think about, and you could probably spend all your life thinking of it and not finding a good answare. But if music exists in the afterlife I'm happy. Since I loove music.

That really sounds true to me as well, sounds the last thought in your brain will be your after life

Example: if you think about your family, you might live with them in afterlife.

I really don't understand this line of thinking. It is not anyone else's responsibility but your own to deal with topics you're uncomfortable with. It is no one's responsibility to warn you of triggers; if you have them you should be cautious what you click on. Did you really click on a thread titled "I want to die bit I'm scared of what happens after" not expecting to be a little uncomfortable? It would be one thing if he'd randomly posted that in any old thread, then I'd sort of understand, but it's a topic about death with suicidal undertones.

Also, suggesting that a picture like that is going to "give someone an idea" is just ridiculous. People who legitimately want to die (& aren't just looking for attention) will do it, and will undoubtedly research the correct way to do so beforehand. No one is going to see that and go "Oh hey! That's a great idea!" & then slit their wrist with the LTT window still open.

On another note: If you're seriously considering suicide, please contact a suicide hotline before trying anything. There is always something worth living for & few things are worth dying for.

As for what happens after; You won't even know you've died because you aren't conscious. It is like being put under for surgery, just nothingness. This may be a dark way of looking at it, but it's more incentive to make the time you have here worth it.

What happens after that? Well, for you, nothing. What happens to your soul is comparable to what happens to RAM when you switch off the power. The data ceases to exist. It doesn't go to heaven, or hell. Those were made up so people wouldn't be afraid of death, because there's no sense in fear when the situation cannot be changed. All there will be left is the empty vessel that used to be you, and all the people that loved you, around you, in tears. It's not a pretty picture, but death is never pretty. I should know, because as a med student I've already seen my fair share of it.

If you want to die though, well, I understand the feeling. Everyone goes through rough periods in life. Many people run into situations where life seems unfair to them and some, in fact, do get into situations that apparently can't get out of, with death as a last resort to find peace of mind. It's not a solution, however. The thing about life is it's a beautiful, delicate thing. It only lasts about 80 years, and contrary to what many people believe (read: would like to be the truth), you only get one shot at it. Sometimes that beauty can be hard to find but it's important to keep searching for it.

Anyway... It's difficult for me to assess the situation here but the fact that you admit to it makes you a brave person, but also at genuine risk. I suggest you seek professional help from someone. In the meantime, if you would like to talk about this some more, please PM me. And promise me you won't hurt yourself, for now at least.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

I really hope there is a after life. I think it weird that it will be over. Cease to exist. Even thinking about it causes all kinds of anxiety.

That's why I try to do all the things I want to do in life asap. Live life to the fullest and try to be happy.

So to explain to you what happens when you die I'll use an example:

What happens to a wild deer when it dies from natural causes in the woods?

The same thing happens to humans. Nothing. You just cease to exist and your body decomposes.

EDIT: If I could die right now, in an instant, skipping the 'dying' part cause I'm scared as fuck of it as every logical being, I'd seriously consider it cause all in all, our lives mean nothing and we mean nothing considering how big our universe is.

I disagree completely. If someone is thinking of suicide, seeing a joke picture about slitting wrists isn't going to be the push they need, that's silly. Not to mention that habitual cutting and wrist slitting are two completely different things.

And yes, people should make jokes about serious topics. Humor helps people cope. It helps make these tough subjects more approachable.

I'll leave you with a quote:

There's no line to be drawn in comedy in the sense that there are things you should never joke about. There's nothing that you should never joke about, but it depends what that joke is. Comedy comes from a good or a bad place. The subject of a joke isn't necessarily the target of the joke. You can make jokes about race without any race being the butt of the joke. Racism itself can be the butt, for example. When dealing with a so-called taboo subject, the angst and discomfort of the audience is what's under the microscope. Our own preconceptions and prejudices are often what are being challenged. I don't like racist jokes. Not because they are offensive. I don't like them because they're not funny. And they're not funny because they're not true. They are almost always based on a falsehood somewhere along the way, which ruins the gag for me. Comedy is an intellectual pursuit. Not a platform.
