how hard is it to put a aircooler back on a card after watercooling it

so say i watercool a gpu then a year or so down the line i want to put the aircooler back on and sell iti know watercooling a card is pretty easy as it comes with instructions but how hard is it to take the block off and put the regular cooler on again.

As long as you have not damaged anything, physically altered anything and kept all the pieces I believe it should be easy.  Just make sure you reapply the thermal paste and padding.  I assume you are talking about GPUs.

as easy as taking it off, just make sure you put the thermal paste/pads on.

pretty simple. just add new thermal paste and thermal pads

The most important part of putting a stock cooler back on a GPU is to have the original pads and some thermal compund on the chip itself. Don´t overtighten the screws and tighten them over cross and you´ll be fine.

I do that everytime a new GPU gen hits the market because I sell my old stuff then. Not everybody wants to go custom watercooling and so I usually just put them back to stock.
