People are going to tell you to get an optical because of no acceleration but unless you're doing super competitive you won't notice. So... optical > laser I guess :)

Thats not really true, you can tell (at least I can)... I have also noticed that in the new COD game there is native mouse acceleration, and its always on! (even if you turn it off!).

(cod also has aim lock *cough* so not like any mouse will matter)

yes, and that acceleration has nothing to do with the mouse sensor, so his statement is still (mostly) true.

 

 

EDIT: I didn't read your post fully, sorry. Yes, it is pretty easy to tell the difference between no accell and when it is there.

When in doubt, re-format.
