Wii U region compatability

While this is not really anything to do with computing I feel like posting it on this forum. Anyway, I am thinking of buying Super Smash Brothers for the Wii U but I am not sure if the code will be usable in the UK because on G2A the game has a North American Tag at the end of the name. This Also is the only region available.

It should work in NA. Also, it's sold out on G2A.

Well it really is sold out :L. This was the cheapest I could find it anyway...

They had a humble bundle with some 3DS and Wii U indie games, which was a USA only thing, because the codes only worked there. So I assume this code only works in USA

sorta seems like a doush thing to do to region lock a game
