Non standard ps3 controller software problems

So quick story, my previous ps3 controller broke down and i got another one from a friend of mine, but it isnt a standard ps3 controller and the software i installed doesnt work with it so does anybody has an idea it would be more than welcome :D

The description of what the controller is named when i plug it in is ''battlefield 4 gamepad: ps3"

What software do you use? MotionJoy? XPadder?

Have you installed the driver section again inside MotionJoy? I think that is the second tab you install all I think and after that it might recognize it. But right now you can't set it to emulate an Xbox 360 controller?

i have already tried that before and it doesnt work it cant seem to detect my controller in any way, while other controllers work perfectly (if they werent broken)
