Are These Compatible?

Go to solution Solved by FruitBasketSilex,

Yep, but if you want to overclock you'll need a z97/87 mobo.

Ok, I currently have a PC that I bought a couple years back or so, I've been wanting to upgrade for a while but I don't know if the motherboard I want to buy is compatible with my new processer. And I don't know if the motherboard is compatible with my Gtx 770. I'll give a link to my current case, motherboard, gpu, my new cpu, and my old cpu. I will also give a link to the PC that I think I bought but customized with a new case and Gtx 770. I think it should be compatible but I want to be sure. I know the CPU is compatible with the new motherboard but again, I want to be sure that it should work.

PC that I customized and think I bought: http://www.amazon.com/Asus-M11BB-CA004S-Desktop-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B00WT3JXWM

CPU (NEW): http://ark.intel.com/products/80811/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz

Thank You! Please tell me if it should work! And if not, please help me find a motherboard with an Intel LGA 1150 socket!

Yes. I'd recommend a new PSU and a R9-380/390 GPU.

I agree but I have a tight budget so I can't buy anything unnecessary besides the CPU. And personally I prefer Nvidia. And I may need a new PSU. I'll check it out. Thanks for looking out for me though! :D

Strongly recommend a new psu it's worth it. As far as gpu goes. Stick with the 770 if it satisfies your needs. No need to upgrade if your happy
