Use custom loop heatsink part in test build

xTyler

Hi, when I do the out of case build, do I just put the custom loop waterblock without tubes and other stuff on, or will the cpu be too hot?

You have to leave the tubes and rad, otherwise your cooler won't work.

If you don't put a stock cooler on or attach anything to your waterblock you stand a chance of frying your cpu, For testing purposes I would suggest using the stock cooler before installing any water cooling loop

*edit* didn't read part about it being enthusiast grade.

I would go and buy the cheapest cooler you can for testing purposes

@0ld_Chicken hello?

4 minutes bro... Im mobile. You don't have a random heatsink to set on it with some TIM? Id be worried about just using a bare dry block, but i don't really know honestly. If its enthusiast grade i wouldn't risk it

Just go out and buy the cheapest cooler you can, something like an Arctic Alpine 64 GT, it's less than £5 (about $8)
