Which USB Wifi To Get?

alanp1995

So right now I'm using a "Asus PCE-N15 N300" as my WiFi and it's a PCIe Card. I'm getting full bar's of signal and then suddenly it drops to 1 and back up to 4 and visa versa. So I've started a return process for this card. Now having experience with external USB WiFi adapters, they were much better for me, I gave my old one to my girlfriend and she picks up 5 to 6 different routers in our neighbourhood whereas the one I've started a return for picks up 1. The Wireless I gave to my girlfriend is this one: http://www.premiertek.net/products/networking/HT-H10DN.html - Now I'm looking to buy a similar one for myself.

I found this one - http://www.amazon.de/Edimax-AC600-Dual-Band-Adapter-EW-7811UAC/dp/B00JML3S66/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448665277&sr=8-1&keywords=Edimax+AC600+Wi-Fi+Dual-Band+High+Gain+USB+2.0+Adapter%2C+EW-7811UAC

I don't know much about wireless so I'm hoping someone can help me out here. Please do recommend a better one if you know of it and I'll check it out on German retail stores. Basically I wanna pick up to 5/6 Wifi Routers also haha.

Thanks in advance! :)

@alanp1995

If the one you had before worked for you, just get the same one. I'm not sure how well that would work for you though since it may be really old. I don't know.
