Hi, I'm building a loop in the arc mini R2. I'm planning to fit 2 240mm rads, one on top which is not an issue and one in front, which is posing a bit of a problem. According to Fractal, I have 275mm of clearance for my front rad without removing ODD bays, which I don't want to do considering I'm already removing all HDD cages. Does anyone know of any rads that would fit here? I'm not too pick on thickness, but I'd prefer at least 3cm. I know they exist, I saw one on PCPartPicker, but the guy didn't respond when I asked. Thanks guys!

welcome to the Linus Tech Tips forums!

the length overall from the radiator will encroach the ODD area. the ODD cage is

not riveted, but uses screws to easily remove the ODD bays.

Thanks for the welcome. Unfortunately, the whole idea of my post was that I need a radiatior that WON'T extend into the ODD area. I know it's a tight fit, but I've also seen builds where the rad just barely fit. If I was to remove the bays, then I'd have nowhere (well nowhere not ghetto) to mount a hard drive, and that's why I'm hoping someone knows a rad that'll fit.

mount the HDD just behind the radiator. or use a USB3.0 storage drive from

rear i/o.

i ran a SSD in one SSD tray and a 1TB laptop drive in the other to solve

storage issues (till i got my NAS config'd).
