CPU cooler - will it fit?

B0aty

Hey, I'm buying my parts today and choosing the nzxt s340 and cryorig h5 ultimate. The case says the cpu cooler clearance is 161mm and the cooler is 160mm.

https://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/151-s340-mid-tower-atx-case.html#

Will it fit? Will the 1mm gap rek my case window?

If the cooler is not advised, could anyone recommend a balln' air cooler that's fairly quiet for about $50usd or $70aud?

Thanks in advance.

snip

I've got a 1mm is border line, even though I have a 1mm gab between my case's window and the CPU cooler.

(Note: the fan mounted on the radiator is usually included in the hight of a CPU cooler, so you don't really have to worry about it.)

So you're saying it's ok to have a 1mm gap between the cooler and window?

It's the same gap I have, and I haven't had problems.

Window will be fine. Its made from acrylic. Just don't rub it against heatpipes. On the other hand, NZXT isn't the most accurate with their clearance measures. I'm supposed to have 3mm free... Not so much:
