ultrawide vs dual monitors

ppolicherla91

hey guys i have been using a dual monitor set up for quite a while and i love it, probably one of the best things for gaming and productivity i have done.

I see all these ultrawides and they look phenomenal and i would love to get one but i can't pony up for two of them. Like i said i love dual monitors, also the desk real estate just isn't there. What i am curious about is,  mainly while gaming and streaming, can i have my game up and other windows up at the same time. I either have my stream monitoring on one screen or the browser up so i can look stuff up need be while playing. Could i still do this on one of the ultrawides that have been coming out???

Yeah, you can have as many windows as you want (like a normal monitor, just with more real estate)

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo

I run a 27" monitor next to my 34" ultrawide. They're the same height and look good together. Ultrawide alone didn't satisfy the functionality I had with 2 displays.

Also, some ultrawide displays have PIP, but just run the game in windowed 1080p to keep the real estate on tthe side for TS, hardware monitors, etc.

I have the Acer curved that uses the LG panel. It probably will, though it comes down to the chip and software used, which is different.
