No it's not being produced anymore. I would wager the only units that would ever become available from retailers are refurbs or whatever they wanna call the "used" units.

 

Try Craigslist and see if anyone is selling theirs.

Is it still possibly to buy an nvidia shield portable? I checked the shield store, amazon, and ncix and they all say out of stock. I remember when checking the shield store from time to time that it was always out of stock. Is it not being produced anymore?

No, sadly the portable version is discontinued, so the only way to get it is to buy at some other shopping sites

I ordered a used one off Amazon from their "warehouse deals". They had a random 15% off promotion on cyber monday so I got it for about $175. Hasn't arrived yet but I can't wait
