598 is definitely better than Kraken

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

They are open back headphones which usually tend to have clearer sound but a weaker bass than closed headphones. For that miney though they are a steal.

they are bright headphones so they dont have that much base its sennhisers "signature sound"

one is not better than the other just depends on what you are using them for and what kind of sound signature you like hd598 are open back which means you can hear other outside noises easier (not meant for travel) they also have less base than the m50x the m50x on the other hand are closed back so you wont hear outside noises as easily. it really depends on your need and what you like. i would say find a store near you where you can try them both out.

good choice those are my favorite get an antlion mod mic 4.0 it attaches to the headphones so you get a "custom" headset
