hd598 or m50x

i recently bought the m50x for $100 on amazon, and i just saw for black friday they also have the hd598 for $100 also

should i cancel my order adn get hd598 instead? ill be using them to play games on pc which one should i get

microsoft also has the vmoda crossfade m100 for $150 im confused right now dont know what to do

I'd recommend HD598. Its open  back and super light weight. Very comfy, a lot more so than the M50x.

well considering they are 50 ohm i dont think so...

Bzzt. Wrong.

 

Low sensitivity means they will need a dedicated amplifier. 598 are high sensitivity, so thy usually don't.

Ohm rating is a generalization, not a definitive easy or hard to drive answer.
