Where I come from, South Africa, these are up-priced like crazy and shipping isn't better off. I'm visiting America soon and wanted to get a gaming laptop but I could only find very expensive ones around $3k. This is exactly what I was looking for as it plays very well on most games high-ultra (F4 getting 50-70fps at Ultra 1080p) and it can even stream if I wanted to with it's powerful CPU.

how is $2000+ dollars cheap...?

Right now the USD to ZAR (Rand) and is only increasing in the dollars favour. That makes the prices for hardware even worse here in RSA. I've been looking for laptops over here with G-Sync but the starting prices are around $2800 for a 970m G-Sync and $3300 for a 980m G-Sync.

I dont pay attention to gaming laptops cause I think they are dumb but from what ive seen that price is pretty par for the course.

I believed gaming laptops to be dumb as well for their price and limited power for gaming, but the 980m and the i7-6820HK out-perform my PC greatly (HD 5770 and i5-4590 3.5ghz), if I wanted to buy a PC+Monitor in RSA, I'd be paying more than this laptop if I got it while I visit America. Then I'll use this laptop till the next generation of GPU's and CPU's are out before I'll put a good $3k-$5k into a new set up.

Indeed :D So many good things happening at once, going from copper to Fibre (4mbit line to 20mbit (which will be upgraded to 100mbit eventually over 2 months)) and then I'll have my laptop in June.

when you said the word "Cheap" did you mean "expensive and mega overkill"?

I like Computer Stuffs. Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it in again? Automation Expert (Bots, scripts, etc)! Add me on Xbox Live: JollyPlanet449 And on Steam!: Baxtmann Wanshow.tips is a cool place too
