my Seasonic S12 620W is running hot

is this normal? my psu is running hot.. don't know the real temp but I guess it's on 40-50c

It is fine up to ~80°C.

Your hand get's burd first befor it is damaged. But DON'T touch the running PSU ;)

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil

Electrical components do get hot, however 40-50C is a huge range. I believe that PSU should be good up until 45C, then things get sketchy after that.

didn't really touched the psu, I only touched the case on the top of psu
